A: Yes, I am! (I’m looking for models of all experiences to work with me.)

I prefer we contact each other a week in advance about the shoot,
then on the day of, to make sure the appointment is still good for everyone.

A: Affordable for anyone! I’m actually currently writing up that information, and all the various packages I have available. Email clarabellafaire@yahoo.com if you’d like to inquire about the price.
Photo use/commercial and personal:
Q: Can I use one or more of your images on my website as a background/feature?
A: Yes, you may..as long as you contact me telling me which photos you’ll be using and where they’ll be located.
Q: Can I paint/draw/etc yourself or your photos?
A: YES. I adore that, and will allow anyone the possibility of doing so.
Again, I’d only like you to tell me which photo (if you’re using one) & where it’ll be located
Q: Can I use your photos as my avatar/profile image for my social site?
A: There is a noticeable copyright on my images for a reason, only I have the rights to them.
So no, I’m sorry but you may not use them for anything like that. I find that a little creepy. Use your own photos, please!
About the woman behind the camera:
Q: How old are you currently?
24. I’ll be the big 25 this November 30th. -faint-
Q: Where are you from?

Q: What experience do you have?
A: A resume page is coming soon, complete with all my clients, models and any publications, magazine features or awards received..etc! In short though, I’ve been working as a professional freelance photographer for 7 years and a model 15. I’ve had 65+ happy customers/models..also working at a large studio chain for one year, giving me a chance to learn so many things, grow a lot as a photographer; I can now shoot newborn babies, to 90 year old ladies..groups of 25, and groups of sugar crazed 2 year old children.
Q. What inspires you?
A. Life itself..waking up every morning, and going to bed each night. My beautiful city & the gorgeous changing seasons all around me..nature is perfection, which I find more beautiful each day. Health, or lack there of. Family and friends, emotions, dreams and aspirations, fellow artists, different cultures, musical lyrics, books, psychology, fashions+art from the past, space, science, world history. To be perfectly honest, nearly everything is an inspiration to me!
Q: Who have you modeled for?
A: Winterwolf Studios (girltripped @deviantart) & Mr. Chris Addams (chrissaddams@deviantart) I’m looking for more photographers willing to work with me! please contact me if you’re interested and live in the MA, NY, VT areas.
Q: What made you change your “style” of photography….meaning horror/macabre to bright/vivid/colorful nature photography & more colorful, fashion portraits? :):
A: That’s actually quite a complex question to answer; I hope no one falls asleep. ;p
I began shooting right after my grandfather passed away from cancer, and wasn’t in the happiest of mind sets. He was my biggest supporter, and losing him was like losing myself. I didn’t know what was up, down or in between. I started to dive into music that was like my mood- and was always greatly inspired by some of the lyrics I had listened to.
After some time, and a mystery illness, it was as if something clicked..I didn’t want to be constantly unhappy, bitter, sarcastic. It wasn’t worth the energy. & when I refocused my energy, I also refocused my eyes..I literally saw the world in a different way. The city I lived in that I so badly wanted to run from for years, was suddenly beautiful..and a place I couldn’t imagine ever leaving. Nature was more interesting to me than throwing blood on myself- and I started to see the art in fashion, then I began to mature into fashion, and much more fun conceptual photographs. I also had a larger audience that I realized was much younger than myself…I didn’t want to be a bad influence, sending messages that depression is cool. (It isn’t.) These days, I’m more of a confidence activist, dreamer, and compliment people when I can, supporting those I find talented or a beautiful personality. My photography reflecting this. (and my growing up in the 90’s influence.) <3 BUT I’ll always have a little dark side to me, and my images are starting to darken up again. That tends to happen when you spend most of your time alone looking at forensic photographs. x:
About the equipment:
Q: What camera(s) do you use?
A: My main camera and baby is my Canon 40D, I’m saving up for a 7D or 60D.. but for now that camera is just fine (: For snapshots&cammin’ I use my old but very reliable Canon Powershot A620. The quality isn’t the best..but it’s easy to handle, and has settings I’ve never seen on any other camera, which are extremely fun to play with. I’ve also got a new camera!! Kodak Easyshare M580. A gift that I adore. The quality is almost as good as the 40D, but I don’t have the battery for it, so I haven’t been able to use it, but once I get it, that shall be the new snapshot/cammin’ camera. Film-wise, I have 5, three incredible Polaroids, a Diana+ that needs it’s insides fixed, and the film camera I love most, the Rebel K2.
Q: What camera should I buy?
A: I believe it’s up to you to choose the camera that suits your personal needs and preferences best! (: We all have our own styles and with the camera market having so many options to choose from, it’s easy to find the right one! Think about what you photograph the most, and what your camera will need for that. I myself, need a camera that is sturdy, and can handle shooting from a moving vehicle. Most importantly, interchangeable lenses..from macro to paparazzi. I use www.dpreview.com to research and compare before I make a commitment to buy..& I’ve been happy with every camera I’ve ever purchased. The website is phenomenal, suggesting sites to buy from and even examples of images taken with each camera-from the site and users like you and me!
Q: What do you use for lighting?
A: For many of my photos, natural light is the key. When superficial light is needed, I use my two Smith Vector lights with a 100 or 200watt bulbs. I’m actually now getting into using the camera’s own flash; used correctly it can really enhance the photo, as well as get rid of camera shake that may happen when shooting handheld (which is how 90% of my work is done)
